As previously mentioned on this blog (literally two posts ago lol) I always have a notebook with me, which I eventually fill up over time. The current notebook, #15, is nearing the end of its lifetime of service. While going back through it, I realized how much of it is NOT part of the major story I’m working on. There are plenty of quotes, brief descriptions of interesting things I’ve spotted, ever-popular Fun Facts About Mammals and much more. Here are just a few snippets:
“Pet-leasing exotic animals.”
“Don’t wait until you know what to do. No one ever does.”
“It received mixed reviews from critics who were wrong.” From this incredible article in the New York Times.
“Nevery.”
“Diggy diggy hole.” Which is a reference to this song which I heard for the first time last year.
“Laser-vacuum apple picker.”
“Doomsday fungus.”
“The girl who likes opossums but not owls.”
Several drawings of me trying to render a stick I found from various angles, no I am not kidding.

I even helpfully labeled it “stick” with an arrow, just in case I forgot what the hell I was doing here.
“Slightly rotated kool-aid flavoring.”
That is all.
